Tate Johnson reports on HoopsReport.com on the top prospects in the state of Kentucky starting with the 2009 senior class and continuing down the line all the the way to 2014. Apparently he has been scouting in the bluegrass since 2000 and he seems to be very high on Jon Hood and the depth of the 2010 and 2011 classes. Hopefully Coach Gillespie can continue to rake in the best that the state of Kentucky has to offer.

WKYTV-Lexington reports that Mackey was released from jail at 12:01 am Thursday morning. He had been in jail for 60 days for violating his bond.

If you've forgotten, Mackey was a rising star out of Scott County high school who had recently signed to play for Indiana Hoosiers when he was arrested for possessing rock cocaine, aka crack.

The judge has ordered Bud to live with his grandfather in Lexington and either get a full-time job and/or work towards obtaining a GED.
